Dropping off a huge months-long project in the UPS delivery box fifteen minutes before their last pick-up on Friday evening at 6.30...
It just doesn't get any better than that.
Now to return to a normal human... well, for tonight at least.
Tomorrow starts the countdown to a deadline for my next chapter. 75 pages by Wednesday... no problem...
Well, that's what I'm telling myself now. I'll let you know how that one feels if I make it.
I'm really glad my knitting doesn't come with deadlines. Well, besides those holidays and birthdays but those dates are flexible, right?

You're just moving right along! I'll keep hoo-ing and ha-ing for you from Brooklyn. I can't imagine having to crank out 75 pages in the heat we had last week.
I remember telling a friend of mine once (she is a real knitter, and knits stuff for money) that it must be so exciting to knit all day as your job!
She told me that sometimes the deadlines she's up against suck all the fun out of the knitting, and it becomes a chore like any other.
Weird, huh? I'd never even thought of it!
p.s. I love the way you write :)
